The Immigration Ledger website on a laptop screen

Immigration news reached people late, second-hand and in one language. We built a publication that reports what changed and what it means from official government sources only, in plain language, in the languages its readers actually speak.

Editorially independent. Not legal advice. Facts from immigrationledger.com, October 2026.

The problem(01)

Late,Second-hand

Official immigration announcements are dense, scattered across departments and rarely explained. By the time they reached people they were filtered through other outlets, often late, and almost always in English only.

Immigration Ledger
The decisions(02)

Sources first,Editor last

Only official government sources, linked on every article. An AI-assisted first draft that uses nothing but the recorded facts, and a human editor who verifies the claims and alone can publish. Reviewed translations into French, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu, so people can read in the language that is easiest for them.

The hard part(03)

SourcesAnd trust

Finding and capturing the right official sources, and earning trust for a new publication in a field full of rumour. Both are solved the same way: every claim is traceable to the document it came from, and every article says so.

What's next(04)

Canada first,Then the world

Immigration Ledger started with Canada in June 2026. Editions for the United States, India, Australia and the other countries immigration leads to are next. The pipeline we built is what makes a new edition a matter of sources, not of rebuilding.
